More Updates

This has been an excellent week here at RenderGarden and we are more than excited to share with you even more updates (and believe it or not, even more will be coming soon!). First I'd like to introduce our RSS feed. Shortly there will be an icon representing the link, but for now you are welcome to head on over to http://www.rendergardenmedia.com/rss.xml directly to see the sweetness in action. Obviously having a feed is important for anyone supplying regular content. So we are happy to have this tool on our sweet utility belts... made out of nylon. (hit the read link for more updates)

 

Our second big update is deep linking! Yeah, that's right deep linking! Simply type in the URL with the added '#/' and your search string or direct article number and we'll do the dirty work. Examples:

 

  • http://www.rendergardenmedia.com/#/64 will take you to the last update's page.
  • http://www.rendergardenmedia.com/#/search will search for the word 'search' and display the given results.

 

As you stroll through the site you will notice the address bar changing. At any given point you will be able to copy the URL and it will take you right back to that article or that search. And as we continue to develop, so will the capabilities of deeplinking. So stay tuned and keep a sharp eye for added features.

 

Seriously, it has been a great week here, and we hope to have another very productive week to come. As for now. I know I for one am done working today. If the site is down later, it's not my fault.
